| By: Big Daddy Success--- I did the sandwich trick and it worked. I gave a fifty to a cute girl at the desk and she asked "is there anything special I can do for you". What service! I said "anything you can do would be greatly appreciated." When I got to my room, I couldn't believe it! The best fifty I have ever spent in Vegas! | ||||||||||

| By: Rico This is actually Planet Hollywood. I did not see the choice, figured you would look here if it was Wynn Hotel. Checked in Sunday at 800pm with wife. Not crowded, several people ahead, but moving quickly. Watched the desk clerks for the one that looked friendlier than others, spotted a dark haired 20-something girl being cheerful and outgoing. Did not want the 20-something guy with an attitude about him, just looked bad news. Just my luck, was next in line for the dark haired girl. Stepped up, said "great place here", she said thanks with a big ol' smile and said "welcome to PH" Gave here my name, she asked for a crdit card and id, slid the $20 in between, enough of the 20 showing. She took all three and put them on here computer keyboard ledge. I said what is the possibility of a room upgrade. She said she would gladly check. She looked for a minute or two and said she could put us in a renovated Resort room on the 19th floor, which was an upgrade feom the deluxe, and we could have a strip view of the Bellagio fountains. I said thanks and that would be great. She then said she could only accept the $20 if I thought she was doing a good job not for the upgrade. I said she was doing a great job and it was my pleasure to tip her. She sent us off and it was a fantastic room and a great view! The trip began in a wonderful fashion and it was a very enjoyable trip! Thanks! | ||||||||||
| By: Kathy We stayed on a Monday in July. Not only were we not given our upgrade, we weren't even given our booked room. I had requested a king non-smoking well in advance. Our plane was delayed, so I called to let them know we would be checking in late (8pm), but were definitely arriving and still wanted the King N/S. Now on a July Monday, we were given a smoking room. Not a single non-smoking room to be had - in the entire hotel! | ||||||||||
